Description

On the 21 April 1429, Charles VII of France was defeated in battle outside of Vienne by a coalition army of England (plus Henri's loyalist French vassals) and Neapolitan soldiers under the command of Louis II. Henri now found himself in a position of immense power in Europe, although it was not without several extreme concerns. Still, devising a way to maintain hold on a very de-centralised crown was paramount. Much of the south was left to its pseudo-independence; however, under the explicit control of Henry's younger brother, Humprey, now both Duke and Prince of Aquitaine.

Bourbon, whilst still clearly under the French hegemony of Henri, was granted certain independencies, and regarded by Henri in a similar way to Brittany. To the east, Burgundy grew in power with acquisitions of territories in the north of France. Various pacts and treaties, as well as marriages, made assure a level of cooperation between the two kingdoms. Both Lorraine and Luxembourg's independence remained a thorn in the side of King Phillippe I, but his new titles came with certain benefits in those matters.

Further to the west, Sigismund gained more support in his own wars with a now relatively at-peace France, and continued to maintain Henri's promise of crusade in the future. As a token of good will, Dauphiny in the south was released from French direct rule and made a part of the Empire; however, it still remained within the greater Crown of France.

Could this fledgling Crown survive?

Ok, been a while I know. Nothing too special, just another map of stuff I've regurgitated a billion times. As may or may not be completely obvious, I absolutely adore the work of Upvoteanthology and wanted to make a map somewhat in style.

It could use a bit more work honestly, but I just wanted to get something out. But, it is the most up-to-date map from Lilies & Lions, so hope you guys enjoy.
